The Reliability represents the accuracy of the index, the index being an evaluation of the genetic value. If you take the case of a bull ranked at a +400kg of milk level with a reliability of 70, there is 95% of chances that the true performance of this bull is actually between -80kg and +880kg of milk. With a reliability of 95, there are 95% of chances that it is between +200kg and +600 kg of milk. The logic is the same for the other criteria (see the table below).
